Local Biodiversity Year Planner 2005




'The North East Biodiversity Awareness Group have produced a new Local Biodiversity Year Planner for 2005. This calendar is full of tips on how to attract wildlife into your garden and highlights many of the major wildlife related weeks and special events celebrated locally throughout the year.

The Year Planner is available to all and is free from local libraries, community centres and other outlets or directly from the LBAP office:

Biodiversity is the variety of life, the rich assembly of living things in the natural world.
Biodiversity includes all living things and their environments, from the tiniest flying insect to the tallest tree,
from open expanses of coastline to the smallest urban garden.
Biodiversity is found everywhere. We are part if biodiversity and depend on it for our quality of life.
Biodiversity involves everyone, it supports us, it is our vital for our survival.
