The North East Scotland Young Wildlife Champions Awards

Calling all young wildlife champions!

Small Pearl-Bordered Fritillary

Are you, or do you know, a young person involved in striving to protect, enhance or celebrate biodiversity in North East Scotland? Then we want to hear from you.

To celebrate the end of Scotland’s Year of Young People 2018, we are on the hunt to find those young people making an outstanding contribution to our natural environment. From species champions to ace volunteers and beyond, we have a category for anyone aged 25 or under who has taken the initiative to support biodiversity in Moray, Aberdeenshire or Aberdeen City over the last five years.

Entry is free, and you can nominate either yourself or an individual or group for these awards. Lucky winners in our five categories will be invited to an awards ceremony at the James Hutton Institute, Aberdeen on 25th March and will receive a £100 cash prize and an engraved trophy. All nominations should be submitted by Monday 4th March. To find out more, download our nomination form.

Get your applications in NOW and good luck!
