Navigating the Site

To get the best results from this site we recommend that you use an up-to-date version of Internet Explorer. You can download it here

Use the five green buttons found at the top of every page to navigate the site.

  • Index - Returns you to the Index Page
  • Go Back - Returns you to the last page that you were viewing
  • Key - Launches a separate window containing a key to the abbreviations used for each Action Plan
  • Help - Brings you to this help page
  • Close - Closes the Action Plans Online Window

At the bottom of some pages you will also find an 'Back to Index' button. Click on this button to take you back to the Index Page.

Use the scrollbar at the right of every page to navigate up and down the web page.

Using the Action Plans

Action Plan Tables are provided in three formats, Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) Microsoft Excel 97 (.xls) and as web pages .

Full Action Plan tables are available from the main Index page.

Agency specific plans are available by choosing an agency from the Individual Plans list. A key to the agency abbreviations is provided in a separate pop-up window. Click on 'See Key'. In the individual plans, the Actions the agency or organisation has been involved in are highlighted by two different greens.

In Internet Explorer you can search a web page for key words using 'Edit > Find (on this page)' from the top browser menu bar.

To view Adobe Acrobat files you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader. If Acrobat Reader is resident on your computer, you may click on the .pdf symbol and the file will load into your Internet browser. Use the Green Back button to return to the previous web page. You may also download the .pdf file. In Microsoft Internet Explorer click on the .pdf symbol with your right mouse button and choose 'Save Target As...' from the pop-up menu.

To view Microsoft Excel files you will need to have Microsoft Office 97 and/or Excel 97 or higher. If Microsoft Excel is resident on your computer, you may click on the .xls symbol and the file will load into your Internet browser. Use the Green Back button to return to the previous web page. You may also download the .xls file. In Microsoft Internet Explorer click on the .xls symbol with your right mouse button and choose 'Save Target As...' from the pop-up menu.

To view an Action Plan table as a web page, simply click on the web page (.htm ) symbol and the table will load into your browser.
